The Longest Night - Worship Service

We all long for Christmas to be a time of joy and peace. Yet for many, the grief of loss and isolation during the holiday season brings sadness and pain. This year at St. David’s, we will make space for us to acknowledge these emotions and find hope in a new service we are calling The Longest Night. The service will take place at 7pm on December 21st, the shortest day (and thus, longest night) of the year. Candlelight will illuminate a 30-40 minute service of music, scripture, and faith-filled texts. The congregation will be encouraged to remember loved ones through lighting a candle, writing a prayer, or placing an ornament on a Christmas tree. We hope you can join us for this inspirational service of light and sacred hope on the longest night of the year.  All are welcome!
