About Us

An inclusive approach
to ministry!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the parish and day school! Saint David’s is a warm, welcoming, growing, and increasingly diverse Christian community that believes in the power of God to transform lives and [still] change the world. We are open and welcoming to all — race, income, political affiliation (or lack thereof), age, gender, and sexual orientation are NOT barriers to inclusion. We are committed to building up the justice-filled world Jesus taught his disciples to hope and live for. We believe that the Holy Spirit calls us to care for one another, to pray, study, worship, and celebrate.

All are welcome in this place!

Servant Leaders

Vestry

The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. There are nine vestry members, treasurer, and clerk. The members are elected at the annual parish meeting and the treasurer and clerk are appointed by the rector. The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector. There are two wardens — a junior warden and a senior warden. The wardens are leaders of the vestry and the congregation. The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
