Faith Formation: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices - Adult Confirmation
Episcopal Beliefs and Practices is a five-session class on the basics of the Episcopal Church. We will meet on Wednesday evenings in October, beginning October 1, from 5:30-7:00pm, in the Memorial Room. Class will begin with a shared meal and fellowship, followed by a time of learning and formation. Class participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Episcopal tradition, including Episcopal Church worship, views on scripture, history, authority, and governance. Participants are eligible to be confirmed or received in the church when Bishop Kevin Brown visits our 10:15am service on Sunday, October 26. Episcopal Beliefs and Practices is essential for newly baptized adults and highly recommended for people coming to St. David's from the Roman Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian or evangelical traditions.
